The costs of living in care - Care Home Fees Vs Private Care Fees

Residential care can cost an average of £29,250 per year for a care home, or £39,300 per year if nursing is required. This means that live-in care fees can be particularly cost-effective for couples; allowing them to stay at home together and pay once for a live-in carer instead of twice for two residential places.

How much your Care Fees depends upon the level of care that is needed. If you require a complex care package that needs your Carer to have certain skills then the cost of your Care will be higher than what you would pay for Carer that is required for a few simple tasks around your home. Live-in care does not have a price ticket attached but is a very affordable alternative to moving to a care home. Contact us for a personalised breakdown of our fees there is a variety of ways available to fund live-in care including direct payments, NHS continuing healthcare, equity release and various government benefits.
